The Indifference of Dirt

I glimpsed love nestled in the blush of a cloud and thought it were fated to never come down. Then in a sudden divine gilded cloudburst it flashed before me and kissed the good earth. I sprinted over to behold the last of its mist a ruby bleeding into its final moment of bliss. We wept forever amidst the indifference of dirt a piece of slag and a ruby mired in the cool earth never capturing the gloaming of lovers unblemished-
