The Indian Summer

The weather is warm again how lovely, The colors of the leaves are like a rainbow. Sunshine and clouds are very far away, Days for fresh air walks and beautiful scenery. Everyone is delighted that the weather is this nice, Leaves are scattered along the walkway. Cautious walks when walking with friends, Everyone dressed for the weather. Coats and jackets and long pants and caps, Autumn activities like tossing the frisbee and flying kites. You feel at home with your world, Beautiful and warm everywhere you go. This is Indian summer where the rainbow world blesses you, A glimpse and then its gone, winter draws nigh. Christmas comes and we look forward to the celebration with relatives, Guesting and good to see everyone again. These are the blessings of God and I am truly thankful, Each and everyday, content and happy. Author: Gwen von Erlach Schutz
