The Inconsolable

The Inconsolable A yellow house stands with a setting of forest, shimmering fog and new snow has fallen. Through the living room of the house we see a festive christmas tree, but for its emptiness absence of a child´s happy voice, the tree has lost its meaning… A car drives up, a big family car, and has an empty child- seat in the back, a woman gets out, a man drives the car into the garage, when he comes back; he sits beside his wife looking at a TV`s blank screen. They both cry together, but are still not able to utter the child´s name.

Jan - Just wanted you see the last poem I posted. I found out during the past days I knew a few who were there. No fatalities in their circumstances. The town is full of media, makeshift memorials sprinkled throughout. The funerals have began; little white caskets. Hoards of people attending. It is so sad.
