Notes About The Poem

The Impression

The Impression

The bows are like...
those of a king,
but sadly...
I have lost something,
in the passing.
I waited my turn to speak,
I was respectful,
moral and ethical.

You are a big man,
anyone can see that.
I am not taking that down.
I am thrilled that your words,
have led me to new places,
my feet never dared
to believe I would go.

My heart is happier,
and my true King is near.
I have nothing to fear...
from anyone,
or anything.
Life is change,
and rebirth.
I have been born again.
I have been renewed,
measurements have been taken,
and they are beyond expectations,
not because of me...
because of Him.

I will walk on.
He knows my heart.
My words to you...
unimportant.
Whispers in the air,
just gratitude,
and fair utterances,
of thanks.
