The Immeasurable Raindrop
The Immeasurable Raindrop
A raindrop may look too small but somewhere a thirsty flower awaits its fall.
Then there is the big pine tree that is also very thirsty and it is ever so tall
The fishes in a lake enjoy the water but they would die if the rain did not fall
So to the flower, pine tree and fishes in a lake the rain drop is never small
The dams that are full the trees oh so tall never find a rain drop very small
Fishes would not swim and frogs not leap if a tiny raindrop did not fall
Mighty waterfalls, dams, and rivers running never say a raindrop is small
The mighty forest with trees so tall would not be if a raindrop did not fall
See the little bird flying singing saying to every raindrop no you are not small
For without you I could not sing fly or have a bath if you a drop does not fall
A snail is sluggish not loved by all but with no drop of water would not crawl
You would miss that splash of water on your face if a raindrop did not fall
Yes, everything in life wants to be mighty powerful, rich, and very, very tall
Unlike a little raindrop, this is not big but just willing to the earth down to fall
No position of power or might just refreshing the birds, flowers and trees tall
Oh my little raindrop please never ever grow tired on me to always fall
