The Ice Sheets

Climb your legs,
I climbed your face,
I slipped on your lips,
And left without a trace

Find me here,
I find you there,
I held your fingers,
And my breath of air

We are sinking creatures,
You know this place,
We swim under ice sheets,
Upside down, face to face

Two people slipping into emotional hypothermia together. Almost like Romeo and Juliet only more toxic. I enjoyed the flow of this poem.
