The Hurricanes Fury

The Hurricanes Fury
By Cody Brandon Turner

With winds so powerful
And masses so big
Everything in its path
Breaks like a twig
Rumbling through the ocean
In the eyes, it has no fear
Leaving nothing but destruction
Sign of life, is nowhere near
Rage and eradication
For anything that gets in its way
Demolition and disaster
Is what it leaves in there place
For in the eye of this act of god
It is peaceful and calm
The weather is normal and quiet
Like you’re standing within god’s palm
Outside the eye lays chaos
Full of havoc and full of hate
For this is a Hurricane
Self destruction it hopes for one day
