The Human Race

The Human Race Formed of the clay With whom man was made Created in whose image Resurrected from the grave Redeemed by the grace Of the savior of the universe His breath awakened my soul Placed me atop the highest mountain And proclaimed his love Greater than I could ever know Surrendered at his feet Grasping hold of his robe Amidst the growth of the fallen weed A master of disguise Whose seed, stolen souls Who labor and die Burn and rot Forever doomed In the chambers of inferno Marckincia Jean Free verse 04/29/20
