The Hug
An physical embrace, of necessary hope,
a heart felt comfort, given for, one to cope.
A way for one to welcome, and to say goodbye,
an opportunity, with a friend, to share, a good cry.
A release for one to know, that you finally forgive,
a gratitude shown to those, whom to you, will give.
A closeness, of being, with the people, you love so,
an epidemic, of love, the world, should definitely know.
