The House At 1 Pm
The house at 1 pm is solemn
In another place it would've been a mess
Kids would be running around
Wrinkled old men would be getting in the way
but now is the complete opposite
There is a gentle breeze Everything is calm
Perfect for writing or meditating or inviting a friend
to visit the grave while we open a bottle of Coke Light
We used to do this when we were young
I had no idea what it meant
Now things start to fall into place
like a key that unlocks the future at exactly 1 pm
Just like that ;)
