The Hour of Rebirth

The wise man fixed me with a bright blue eye
And looked at me so deep within.
It was as bright as stars and blue as sky
And so my story shall begin…

When gazing so distractedly from through
The haze, I looked and I did see
The prophet standing there. Before I knew,
These words, so wise, he said to me:

"You live your life so deaf and blind;
It only brings you misery.
Listen to me and free your mind
And then your life shall, too, be free."

I was knocked down and struck upon the ground
But now is time to stand up fast.
I tell my saviour-god that I have found
An answer to my prayers at last.
