The Honest Truth
I am a simple girl
My feelings are honest and true
I just yearn to be loved
Like I love you
No need for the past
To rear its ugly head
With you I see laughter
And bright days ahead
At last I have found you
No more tears
Take my hand and trust in me
Let your heart love me
And together we shall be free
To discover what God intends
Honesty and love
Between you
And me
