The Holidays

THE HOLIDAYS

           The Holidays of yesteryears
           Hitting me once more to reminisce and
           Enveloping me with feelings of nostalgia

           Holidays from December sixteen and
           Over on January seven, the day after Three Kings
           Launched with daily mass at dawn for nine days,
           I was always looking forward for the many kinds of
           Desserts served to the church goers after the mass.
           And then the Christmas Eve mass and dinner, when
           Young and old gathered until Christmas day and
           So we continued on with holiday visits until Three Kings

We have a set of three Magi in jewel tones that travel from our front door Christmas Day around the house for twelve days ending up at the creche on twelfth night. Happy New Year to you! I have not really written anything. My family circle is hit with Covid positive, at least 20 of them since XMas eve and one of them, my brother is intubated in ICU. I hope he can make it.
