The Hills
Cold as the hills
I feel the chills
Running through my veins
Up in the hills
I’ve taken spills
And still can feel the pains
I’ve seen the hills
Where everything fills
All because of the rains
Ski down the hills
Do it for thrills
For excitement in your brains
Through the hills
Men with skills
Are driving about their trains
Out in the hills
If anyone wills
It is he who wants that remains
On some of these hills
There are things with quills
I can think of a couple of names
In some pools in the hills
There are creatures with gills
Will not breath if the water just drains
Birds fly over the hills
Even over landfills
I have even seen whooping cranes
I’m still cold as the hills
And can still feel the chills
I will warm as my energy gains
