The Hereafter

He asked his flock if they believed in the Hereafter Amen, pastor, they said amid much joy and laughter! Hereafter, when the plate is passed I expect it to be filled up fast For some reason chapel attendance plunged thereafter Robert L. Hinshaw, CMSgt, USAF, Retired © All Rights Reserved

It is hard to give but God gives in return..Enjoyed the humorous take on the subject of tithing or giving...Thanks for the review of my work..I am not crazy about liver but I can eat it..Once the dr told me to eat it once a week..I would try to bake it so that some of the fat would go away..Not great but I could force it down..My husband can't eat it at all..Sara

Robert, you take the truth of the matter and weave such expressive stories. I sense the humor and sadness in this wonderful verse. So much wisdom with so few words.

Hi Bob, another enjoyable poem. It sometimes scares me that the younger generation may not have churches to attend, if they don't get more money. Take care, have a great week. Lee
