The heart of fallen leaves
Tiny heart of fallen leaves
Ensouled in beauty and awe
Beating in the autumn’s bosom
Embracing the seducing sunset
Renouncing their existence
Waiting to become dust
With grace and ardor
In whisper of distant hills
Far from worldly broils
Becoming one with the nature
Echoing love and compassion
Imparting togetherness
Eager to merge
Reflecting eternal unity
Conveying the truth
Nothing is separate from the rest
Oceans and sky are one
Fall and bloom, joy and gloom
Are essence and reality
Nature’s bounty bestows change
We shall return
The pride of barren boughs
The poise of faded flowers
Endear me to wiser expressions
Soothing my wisdom
And sense of endurance
Telling that moments are reborn
And all continues
