~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gently falling, floating down from soft skies,
Caressing the spirit with frosty flecks,
Rousing warmth inside that dark can’t disguise.
Carols sung by those who know love’s effects,
Laughter and light reflect God’s compassion,
Caressing the spirit with frosty flecks,
Blizzards so bright paint the world an ashen,
Timeless faith reminds the spirit to give.
Laughter and light reflect God’s compassion.
Hailing the birth of One who did forgive,
Making a way for all to celebrate.
Timeless faith reminds the spirit to give.
He is One who can set the sinner straight,
Assuring the soul that they’re surely saved.
Making a way for all to celebrate.
Christmas opens the heart where love’s engraved,
Gently falling, floating down from soft skies,
Assuring the soul that they’re surely saved.
Rousing warmth inside that dark can’t disguise.
