The Hangin' Judge

Tough old Isaac Charles Parker was renowned as the Hangin' Judge Many of his 'guests' entered eternity undoubtedly holdin' a grudge Miscreants approached his bench with queasy knees and little hope Since he usually sent them to dance in the wind at the end of a rope Robert L. Justice arrived, with a snap n a jerk, neck broken with a whispered curse, the sombre tones of the old hearse, but judge Parker wasn't crying. great poetry cobber, mine.

Clerihew? Who? I have not heard of this form before...Always challenging me to try new stuff, Hinshaw!! lol. Wow....worse than a tight rope..a hanging rope!! Was he related? Fictional friend? lol. Great to read from your brilliant mind....as always. John Freeman will be in stitches reading this one. Wait til you read mine. I remember reading about this judge. He was bound and determined to find the men who raped his daughter if he had to hang every man to come before his bench. Great job here. God Bless, JB
