The Grind

I screwed up and that's the truth, Made a common mistake of the youth, It's up to me to mature now, I look to God to show me how, I'm not gonna be the same no more, I am only gonna walk through a good door, Maybe one day I'll get a sign, Show me that I'm finally fine, Gods gonna show me the way, He will show how to brighten the day, Now I have to learn to walk, Relearn how to talk, Show them that I can, Show them I'm a changed man, People are gonna hate me, Only because of the past they see, It follows you all around, It kicks to your knees then on the ground, Don't let it beat you bad, Don't let it make you sad, Show them what you got, Show them what your not, Rise up and take control, Take those pieces make them whole, Don't stop til there's nothing left to accomplish, Don't worry if people think you're selfish, They don't know what your aiming at, They will never understand all of that, So climb up and be number one, While your at it have yourself some fun, No one will ever be a better you, No one will ever do what you do, Keep grinding till the end, Guarantee by the end you will have a friend, The grind doesn't stop so neither will I, There's no limit not even the sky, I'm ready I made sure to prep, Now who's gonna follow after I take a step, Don't worry we're only going to the top, Until we're there we won't stop.
