The Grime of Shoes

The grime of shoes can bring someone a prize, along with hands that serve orphans and poor. Examined dust, that walked the narrow way, disregarding themselves, loved to their core. But, selfish feet are caked, forevermore, having poured drinks until the break of day, can’t make it to one’s bed, sleeping on floor. The grime of shoes gathers offals and flies.

Kim, our feet definitely can take us along different paths. We would like to be proud of the path we have taken. Thanks for the perspective from ground level!!!

We often don’t think about where our feet take us and the impact of our actions. God bless you, Duke!

Whoa!! This is a deep one. We do have choices in life. We can be a person who gives and does what good that they can do or be like the second one and take and destroy. I enjoyed reading this one today. Thanks for sharing it with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

Well said! Like age...it can be just years passed...or a life well lived in the service of needy others. Barefoot can even be a greater blessing under some circumstance.
