The Grey Girl On the Sidewalk

You are constantly mimicking and following me around Imprinting my silhouette on the sidewalk I know you well, though you don't make a sound You're taller than me, but you don't weight a pound At the end of the day, when the sun is no longer shining on the ground The nighttime creeps in, teasing you with its sweet talk And you always fall for it, and into the darkness you are drowned Until the next sunny morning on which we will walk.
