The Green Bean

Half a pill is all I need;
It's all I can afford.
I peel the skin off carefully;
To keep from getting bored.

Half a pill is all I need;
I don't know what to say.
Just give me one more half a pill,
And I will pay you next payday.

Half a pill is all I need;
I don't need any more.
I'll cut it up into a line;
The feeling will make me soar!

Half a pill is all I need;
Can't you see my pain?
This stuff is so addicting;
It's worse than pure cocaine.

Half a pill is all I need
to scratch this little itch.
With all the money I spent on this drug,
You'd have to think I was rich.

Half a pill is all I need;
To keep me on my toes.
While I get another half a pill,
And snort it up my nose.

Half a pill is all I need;
If I want to I can quit.
All I'd need to do is stop,
And I'll be over it.

Half a pill is all I need;
It will help me fall asleep.
If my mother new what I was doing,
She's surely sob and weep.

So just give me one more half a pill;
And after that I'm through!
Just give me half a pill;
I'm sick of begging you!

Half a pill is all I need;
I live this evil lie.
If I don't quit sometime soon,
I'm surely going to die.
