The Greatest Showman

The greatest showman came to town Completing verbal acrobatics. Taming verbs into free verse. He made us laugh and made us cry He made us feel alive. When the greatest showman came to town. Turning words into sonnets. Juggling lines into epic ballad’s. To woo us with his words of wisdom. Performing prose to epic levels. Then a flood light falls on the showman As he announces the star performance. It’s john lindley reciting, Love and crossbones .
