The Greatest Journey

Her touch is like
warm honey, slowly gliding
through the rivulets of my veins,
even my arteries,
as she slides her fingers
in intricate patterns,
over my shoulders,
my neck,
my chest.
I am aroused and aglow
in her presence.
Soon lips touch,
beyond tenderness,
and I can feel us
slipping down to the
soft, white, downy bed.
where the seeds of life begin.
The grand moment comes
and we release our muscles
falling into each other.
we lie there, still as can be,
not wanting to ruin the moment,
and fall into sleep,
satiated by our love.
Tonight has been
the greatest journey,
of my life.
