The Grandeur of Fall

The magical season, so bewitching in displaying three seasons in a row. Fall’s mystique starts with Summer’s warmth pitching fun in the sun, strolls under moonlight glow. Weeks in, comes splendid spectacle of hues of Autumn leaves, green leaves turn to array of yellow, orange, red, gold, brown diffused creating one of nature’s rich displays. Then flaunt of Halloween decorations, costumes and delight in many faces. Months in, the awaited celebration of nature’s richness and thankful praises. Fall ends with preview and taste of Winter. Snow, like crystals glitter, but can hinder.

Very descriptive work about the autumnal time of year when the weather is uncertain. Here we don't have very much snow, but we can have some white mornings because of a heavy frost. This work has good flow, rhythm, rhyme and flow. Your visit to my page was uplifting. Sara K

Sara, your comment is so greatly appreciated... this is really the very first sonnet I wrote. Thanks again, for your kind words touching and warming my heart. I tried writing one in my English class last year, but kind of so so, just nearly rhymes. I had a lot of nerve, entering it in another contest... lol... lets see what happens....
