The Glass Bottom Restaurant
The glass bottom restaurant,
has seafood as main fare.
Seated out beyond the shore,
over ocean, surf and air.
The roof is the open sky.
The walls are windows all around.
You step in at the end of the pier,
leaving land and ground.
You dine and watch the sea life.
Their world does fill your sight.
Mesmerized by underwater,
silver moonbeams glow at night.
The chef is Eric Ripert,
with his gifts of expertise.
The choicest of the menu,
is his gourmet aperitif.
Cilantro scallops
Braised clams with mint
Raw oysters with cava
Citrus and herb shrimp
This sounds so lovely.
Whatever could go wrong?
Just must make sure,
that the floor’s built strong.
