Anaya, this particularly intrigues. It's striking in the amount of sensuality you convey in a compact poem. That takes talent! Heaven scented makes quite an impression on those observing! Smiles!

This is a beautiful romantic and sensual piece dear Anya. You mentioned 'Masala' and Shankar in you poem and I'm tempted to say that my Dad who was a master musician taught the great L Subramaniam, who wrote the Musical Score for 'Mississippi Masala'. Though he hadn't met Ravi Shankar personally, but knew of him, he taught another Great Conductor Zubin Metha (the late Pavarotti's conductor and conductor of the California Symphony) who no doubt knew Shankar. Just a bit of Trivia. I trust your art work is going well. Hugs Maria

Ty, Maria. I am delighted you mentioned your father's impressive musical credentials, you must be so proud. I love the sitar and Indian movies!! :) Zubin Metha! yes everybody knows him here in L.A. (Los Angeles Philharmonic) The Hollywood Bowl, nearby is the Greek Theatre both Open-Air its were I frequently go, last I saw were the Gypsy Kings. As you can see, I move in different circles, there is so much music choices to love. Maria, I found Mississippi Masala stars Denzil Washington, and I will watch it tonight. Thank you for the wonderful trivia and memories you've brought me. Xhugs ~Anaya oh, I love to experiment with graphic design, (book covers) simple things. ;)

Dear anaya, this gives and emanates sensuality to me in the most exquisite manner in the form of tanka in few syllables youv said so much. I love the way youv written this, especially how you’ve stated “ heaven scented my soul mate “ what a cosmically pleasing line “ their sweet moment poem born “ so beautiful how love can inspire and turn us into poets. Reminds me of lady gaga movie, forgot the name but remember the song “ always remember us this way” so heartfelt! Best wishes. Sending you light always

Ah, yes "A Star Is Born" remade many times, dear poetess. Love does make us do things we've never done, in my case write a poem. I'm pleased that you found my little Tanka cosmic! Romance seems to be in the air :):) xo TY!

This is very intriguing. So mysterious to me. I was going to comment on your stanzas but now I can see that you used only the last one. That is the one in tanka style. Well done.

Ty, US. I am delighted you found it interesting. A memory, a shrug of resignation. After covid had stricken the world. People acted in unusual ways, after the "stay in" and "away" period. It's been 3years on the soup! :):) I'm grateful for PS

This is a true story, Yann. It was jealousy that drove me to write my first poem. Ty for your kind comments, always :)
