Notes About The Poem

The Gifted Scent of Healing

you heal my mind with touch of tender tears
and unabashed they linger in my hair
with breath of love you breathe; all tension clears
your able hands relieve me of my care

you heal my soul with words that bring delight
each thought is spoken with a sweet intent
and every wrong I've suffered seems but trite
you love them all away; each one now spent

you heal my body with your luscious kiss
its touches every part in need of love
your hands adore my form, inviting bliss
the healing flows in waves I knew not of

you heal me, and for you it is I bloom
your gifted scent of healing, my perfume
