The Gift That I Give You

The gift I give you is intangible-
cannot be touched or held within your hand;
but tween your eyes and heart exchangeable-
I offer you my thoughts to understand.

This gift I give to you is wrapped in love
and feelings that present a rhythmic dance
that whirled around upon a stage above
in my poetic mind- to then advance

to seek the words that make them come alive
upon a screen where you can read or not;
and hoping that these gifts of mine survive-
in some way touch your heart- no way forgot.

But I am not alone in gifting these-
     my fellow poets share this expertise.
