The Gift of a Rose
There thrives inside the garden walls
a bloom that enchants and enthralls
oft' luring poets to compose
Amidst sweet scents, all others pale
Designs on ardor will prevail
when given the gift of a rose
Velvet petals in crimson red
lends voice to love in words unsaid
from hearts in which emotion flows
