The Gideon Edge
“The Gideon Edge”
We walk the thin line
Alone, but in the
crowd of humanity
We are walking
towards
The Edge
Feeling our way
in the dark
fingers tracing our pasts
on walls that sound
like braille
rattling, perishable, frail
Instincts in the
back of our brain
bit by electric bit,
We all shed our scales
We are road bumps
on a pearly wall
blind, we fall into pattern,
Human,
compromised
in a new world
homeless souls,
searching inevitably
for the lost Gates
Gideon like, We
lead solo eventually
leaking outwards
the Light within
Eloquent arrival
a conversation
with unseen visitors
in the Terebinth Trees
discussing Judges
between the pages of history
The Greatest Mystery
Gravity turns time
we are all just pebbles
in fractured fractions
rising to the surface
away from what was, and
is to be
We cross that bridge
where gravity reverses
exhausted from small wars
we sit waiting for
the Rock of Ages
"IT"
to find us
we are All lost
Guided on a whim
Light seeping out
from within
waiting...
