The Gibbous Moon

The gibbous moon between its full and new stage Seeing in the sky on a clear night As bright as it is part is seen and part is not Like a hunched back camel in an Arabian sea of sand Fan by the spacious wind it gleams from the shine of the Sun Forcing itself obtrusive outward Transmitting brightness to the whole world Like the Son of God who shines for all to see Accepting His brilliant light Which come to all both day and night

I enjoy the moon, too... and GOD above all else. Thank you for your expressive poem and many blessings.
