The Garden of Humanity

Each liken to a flower, shrub or tree are the many shades of color, shape and size in these beds of humanity. As in nature perfection and imperfection abound some tall, some short, some thin, some round. With God's grace we breathe the sweetness of air. With man's greed, lust, arrogance and lack of care the breath of life becomes foul beyond compare. Man's self importance like too much water rots our roots and in time weakens and destroys all that is beautiful in The Garden of Humanity.

Just a shout-out post to all Terry Lee's friends and followers: My Dear sister Terry Lee made 'the Transition' at the end of January 2017. In an effort to preserve her work; I am reviewing all her poems. As I scan through your comments, I discover aspects of Terry I had not been in touch with; and I appreciate your compassionate, kind words; gifts that have facilitated my own comfort. Consciousness is energy we all share which cannot be destroyed. Thanks to all of you. Thom Allen

The funny part of this is I wrote this as a child of 13. When I became old enough to realize that all the things I had been taught as a child didn't really hold up in the real world. Thank you so much for your very kind words and review. TLee
