The balmy fragrance invaded the spectacular garden
A royal star magnolia in full bloom enthralled the central strip.
Visitors felt elated, a sight no heart could harden.
Onto a pond, a willow tree allowed its leaves dip,
Daisies, roses, lilies and yarrow enhanced one’s trip.
