The Freeing

Shining trail of buried light
come forth and shed your skin.
For at third glance one cannot view
the jealous shadow’s muse.

Force, not dread, will be your aid
in summoning a change of hue.
Shining trail of guiding light,
I’m pleased to have now met you.

i love this poem. to me its a tale of forcing yourself to overcome your obstaclers and your set backs and striving to come back from them. Which may not be what you meant, but i enjoyed what i took from it. Best of luck- Paul
