The Fragmented Professional

I do not know where to start

How my world fell apart

Mimicking a dependent broken heart

Smashed all-in pieces

Everything ceases

Time to phone

Home

Admit, ‘I am alone’

A chapel bathes in sunlight

Making the future bright

Back to school I went

Where four years I spent

Getting fed

Knowledge planted straight to my head

Not remembering anything the professor said

Reflecting upon the campus mall

Quietly embracing spiritual magic, that is all

Proper decision made the call

Getting into a debatable mind-bending brawl

Dismantling my internal adversity wall

Shedding recent tears

Remembering it was here

Received much cheer

Credit achievements earned

Needing updated lessons to learn

Professional experience standing firm

Going from one term

To another

Many classes covered

Maturing more

Browsing the academic store

Opening a personal door

Benefitting just me

Document office hanging for many to see

Unlocking the respect key

Allowing it to reveal

Combatting treacherous honest deals

Innocent trusting community asking, ‘is it real?’

Time to make a move

And prove

Projecting a skillful tone

Lacking stereotypical moan

Since it was classroom trained and honed

Playing a game

Strengthening my claim

Did I win?

Was there a sin?

I do not know

But I can go

Without a scare

To a campus chapel right there

Telling me I am living a life that is fair

Emotional jigsaw puzzle put together

Ready for sunshine weather

Feeling better

After getting my supportive grade letter
