The Four Dimensions of God's Love

As high as heav’n, from whence Christ came,
to bear for us a cross of shame.
A love so high, it strains the mind
for it exceeds the earthly kind.

God’s love moved Christ to come to earth
and experience a human birth.
A love so deep, it makes us weep,
when we wake up, from our soul sleep.

God’s love for us, it is so long
It suffers long, remaining strong.
Why does such hate of God exist?
who did much good while in our midst.

God’s love is wide, embracing all
His sinful creatures of the fall.
His grieving heart, like Rachel’s bawl,
Relent from hate, and heed His call.
