Science and technology have brought us new inventions and products and processes have seen great advancements. So it should be no wonder that man is four dimensional. First, we are physical, with head, hands and feet. To live, breathe and function, we all have to eat. Next we are mental with an incredible mind, reflecting the image of our Maker divine. So if we would grow to our fullest potential, we all need rich sources of mental stimulation, like reading and music and schooling and traveling. Then we are social in the third dimension, needing interaction with our human companions. At birth we need the loving affection of our mother and father. Science has shown that babies who are well-fed but deprived of human interaction and touch will fail to grow and eventually die. This proves the fact that we are truly social. Last but not least, we are driven to worship. Ever wondered why in every culture there is some form of religion? It's because man is spiritual. Some worship a supreme being, others carved idols and still others worship themselves, their family or possessions. This propensity to worship shows man is spiritual. So if you are seeking for fullness and meaning and to determine your function, you must satisfy all four dimensions.
