The Folly of Man's Mouth
So many words are spoken
how much are really wise?
rubbish abounds from many
one day all of it just dies
When one thinks of the alphabet
twenty-six letters relatively few
but so much tripe are developed
language of filth often sticks like glue
When Adam fell in sin at Eden
all mankind was tainted so great
one's tongue was poisoned very much
for the hearts in an awful state
One of my great loves is poetry
but even it can't from this escape
not everyone likes using pure words
some like to shock committing wordrape
When one considers all that's spoken
the only one hears every word in full
He was perfect hearing nothing amiss
the living God measures His pure rule
