Driving in the fog
Is like to travel 
Into the unknown
We do not know where
We are going
its like the unknow
Its scary

Darlene, my friend, what you wrote is so accurate and disturbing and potentially deadly. Driving in fog is an ordeal. Among the most terrifying things that have ever happened to me; the danger is real, not just in my head.

I do not like to see an animal suffer in pain. I get heart broken when an animal is hurting. Slo I understand the danger is real and not in your head. Enjoy your evening my friend. /Darlene/

Hello Scott, yes there is danger driving in the fog. accidents do happen in the fog. When my husband was alive, we drove to a farmer's market in the fog . Deer were crossing to the other side, We hit one deer. I felt awful.

It can be dangerous with vision very impaired. I experienced that in B.C. on the coast you could not see in front of you. love phyl

Driving in the fog is very dangerous and scary. One of the scariest things I've experienced, where it really is dangerous, and not my imagination.

Hello David ,yes it is scary to travel in the fog. When my husband was alive we were travelling in the fog and the truck hit a deer. It flew across the road. i do not know if the deer was alivw or dead. Your friend, Darlene/

Hi Dalene ! ~ I like this type of short-form. It forces one to be concrete & concise. A good theme to use for this form. Ugh ! Fog quite dangerous to drive in. Kind of have to switch headlights on and off. This poem brings out the scariness. Perhaps you might want to correct the typo in second line. ThkU for sharing. Sending rainbow Love. Xxx

Well said my friend. I still remember driving through a pea soup fog to work one morning and was only inching along fearing II may hit something. Suddenly I heard hoof beats and felt my car gently nudge something. The hoof beats got faster and then a deer jumped the fence to my right. Nice job here. God Bless, JB

Hello Judy Ball, That was the same thing that happened with my husband's truck in the fog. We did not know if the deer was alive or dead,She ran into the woods. i felt sick in my stomach not knowing what happend to the deer. Hugs. /Darlene/

Yes, Darlene, driving in the fog is scary because it can be so thick that you can't see but a very few feet in front of you. Our lives are like that to a certain extent. Thank you for sharing this one with us. Sara K.

I love animals. I hate to see one in pain, too. But, the fact that the deer was able to run away was, I think, A good sign. Hugs.

When I was a kid, I read a book about a girl who would go into the fog where mysterious happenings would occur. Then there was The Fog in 1980. I went with this sailor, who afterward, had to walk in the fog to get to his ship. No wonder the fog is scary. Hugs
