Silence touches my imagination with whispers of gentle feelings, inspirations who thrive on insight and wisdom, loving promises that leave me without a doubt. Hues of melancholy and mystery enchant my inner thoughts so that I smell the colors, rich and bold, flavoring my inspiration with intimate ideas that flow like clear waters through my mind, ensuring their purpose is alive with passion and desire. A hunger for the spiritual blessings cultivates joy and musical notes feed my inner yearnings with healing and hope, sentiments of affection and compassion that leads me through the pain and sorrow which have haunted every beat of my heart. My soul awakens with the grace that I find with each passing moment of freedom arising on the bark of limbs which await birdsong and new growth of enlightenment that desires vision to design fulfillment within the one who knows that this poetry that brightens worlds also brightens plans. Like a moonbeam amid the stars, the poem stands out as a shining light of delight and insight, a miracle amid the sparkling embers of hopeful twinkles. Poetry flows through Scarlet waves of an embrace Silencing all doubt .....and so I wrote a poem Poetry Contest Sponsored by John lawless October 9, 2020

Beautifully done Regina. this is captivating right from the start and nailed down with the haiku closure. A great take on the theme using a very difficult form. Thanks for entering the contest
