The Five Gifted Tastes

Even our tongues
Are gifted to taste
Different tastes of food
Sour, pungent hot, saltish, sweet and bitter
And so are our bodies and minds
Are gifted with feelings and emotions
Hot, cold and pain
Happy, sad, angry and frighten
To taste the essences of life
And sad to say
Don't know why
Some people are
Apathetic to welfare
And indifferent to crisis
