The Fire

The demonic cloud of fevered smoke blisters the sky's blue skin. Waves of intense heat melt the air, while flames devour all fragile things within. The sun glows orange from the fire's laugh, shining through the hot, flaming walls. As human hands brave this disaster, the landscape of human life falls. Scorched acres are painted black by the traveling flame's acid fingers. As frightened lives flee from this blaze, the ash colored scar still lingers. The starving fire feeds upon the dry land, leaving charred remains behind. But when the fire's strength burns away, an embryo of life begins to unwind.
