Why does this feel so wrong?
Aren’t you already gone?
Don’t you know I’m not there?
Why does my heart have such a big tear?
You were like a coat I would wear
Always wrapped around me
Oh why couldn’t I see
You would never be home to me
Chorus.
And why can’t I forget your name
You were the one to blame
Why do you have to be so full of it
Always stuck in your little fits
Don’t you know I was sick of it
So won’t you please let go
Hush maybe we don’t have to say no
Maybe life does not have to be so cold
But I know your not that bold
I know life won’t let us go that slow
I will always be something you use to hold

Won’t you take back my heart
Maybe we could restart
But we know that’s not true
I would never be able to fully love you
Why does love have to be something we fear
Always ending in tears
Why does it have to be so wrong to hold you near
Maybe one day it might be right
Giving love a whole new sight

Too much drunk pain to say goodbye
