For Emile Pinet's The Grandeur Of Fall Poetry Contest
________________________________________________________________________
The fall - oh so lovely - is in my eyes the sweetest candy which each year I see, for when persimmon often paints the skies, stunning are those sunsets surprising me with swirls sometimes of crimson - purple too. My roses even blossom one last time before the winter comes and fall is through. Fall’s beauty makes me want to write with rhyme! The trees have reached their zenith; colors bloom in such bright hues before the cold arrives to strip them bare and bring on winter’s gloom. The fall inspires poets, and sonnets thrive. How many by fall have been enraptured? What grandeur with words have poets captured!
