The Face of the Father pt2
The Eyes Of The Father
Quote: Whenever we look into the eyes of the Father we will see our new identity in Jesus reflecting back at us from them.
You are the apple of the Father’s eye. One definition for the apple of God’s eye in the Hebrew language is “the little man in the eye”. This little man in the eye of the Father is a reflecting image. Since you are the apple of the Father’s eye, it means that you are the image that is reflecting on the surface of His eye. The eyes of an individual are also connected to their heart, their conscience, their will, their emotions and even their imagination.
It is because of the eye’s connection to the many different parts of ones soul that they will sometimes reflect what is really going on internally within a person. This makes the eyes of an individual a mirror of their soul. What we think about someone and how we perceive them will reflect from our eyes. What do you think the Father’s eyes reflect about you? If you were to look into the mirror of the Father’s eyes, you would see a heart filled with unconditional love for you.
Jeremiah 31:3
I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting
Love. With unfailing love, I have drawn you to myself.
You would see a conscience that is not judging you and a mind that only thinks the best about you.
Jeremiah 29:11
King James Version
I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope.
You would see a will that desires to spend time with you.
Leviticus 26:12
New King James Version
I will walk among you and I will be your God and you shall be my people.
You would see great joy and kindness reflecting back at you.
Zephaniah 3:17
Amplified Bible
The Lord your God is in your midst, a warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with joy; He will be quiet in His love [making no mention of your past sins], He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
If you were to look into the mirror of your heavenly Father’s eyes, you would see yourself as He sees you. That you are loved, holy, righteous, and perfected forever within their reflection.
