The Eyes of Tragedy
So many eyes in the sky watching, waiting
reflects in the dance of the rain,
clouds swirl overhead.
Cold black breath denies my lungs
asphyxiation denies me her lips
too cold to remember what is lying in the snow there.
And black night? He waits behind these closed eyes to see—
see the eyes in the sky
the unholy reflection upon the rainbow.
what has God created?
The destruction sends broken fragments of seasons into the eyes
dust films porcelain stares
the eyes above are watching, waiting.
