The Eyes Don'T Lie

I have seen the broken bus windows fireflies in my daughter’s afro the look in the eyes of passersby prompting her to ask; “Dad, why are they looking at us?” Which prompted my reply: “Maybe they’ve never seen an Ironworker before.” John G. Lawless ©1/17/2022
