The Ever-Burning Flame

The Ever-Burning Flame In my heart there is a fire. It can never be put out. Through rain or snow Its light will glow. This is without a doubt. When I need support. I go to my internal fort. Whether warmth or heat, It's on repeat. I am the happy-go-lucky sort. Thought my heart does not burn. In fact, for the flame, it yearns. When it flickers, And lightly snickers. My heart gets so stern. So I wrote about this flame. Confidence, its name. So through trial and war I'll always have more And it'll always be the same.
