THE EVENING OF MY SOUL
In the evening of my soul
I feel the Holy Spirit near!
Gone are all my fears.
Peace and beauty surround me
Tranquillity so supreme.
Heavy clouds are gathering.
The calm between the storms.
Colours are so vivid and bright!
My precious Jesus
You gave Your Blood for us,
You gave us Salvation, You gave Your All.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
My sight is crystal clear,
I can hear the forest sounds.
I can hear Your thoughts to me.
Thank you, thank you, thank you !
I love Your Beauty,
The serenity You have given me,
I love the passion You show me!
A passion for life,
A passion for giving,
A passion for living and sharing
Your precious Word,
Your Holy Spirit,
Your very being!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26, ESV)
